Everything is fine at 4 1/2 year post-treatment.

Anthony went for his 4 1/2 year post-treatment check-up and everything is fine. His CT, bloodwork, and physical check-up were all good. He has one last check up at 5 years (February) and then it will be once a year for a couple of years with just a chest X-ray and bloodwork. After that, it may just be every couple of years. Hooray!

About me

My name is Anthony and this is my site. I was diagnosed with a Primitive NeuroEctodermal Tumor (PNET) in April of 2003 when I was 4 years old. PNET is a type of Ewing's Sarcoma. The tumor was on my fifth rib and was about 1.25 inches big. It sounds scary, but don't worry I'm doing fine now. I did 4 of my chemo treatments and then had a surgeon take out the tumor and two of my ribs. Then I did 10 more chemo treatments to make sure everything was gone. It has been more than 10 years since we found "my bump" and I go to the doctor for checkups just once a year now.
